Mr. Lamport joined Zayla Partners in 2024 as a Principal. He has been advising clients across a range of industries and sizes on all matters of compensation and related corporate governance for nearly a decade. Prior to joining the firm, Kyle served in various consulting and managerial roles for a premier boutique compensation consulting firm based in Houston, TX. As a strategic advisor to private and public clients operating in many industries, including multiple segments across the energy industry supply chain, banking and financial services, insurance, real estate, and transportation and distribution industries, Mr. Lamport understands clients value guidance beyond just the data as they look to structure compensation programs that differentiate amongst the competition and align with business strategy.  His background in advising on matters related to executive, non-executive, and board of director compensation programs, including annual & long-term incentive plan design is a meaningful asset to our firm and our clients.

Mr. Lamport holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University, as well as certifications from the Economic Research Institute, including the Compensation Committee Certification and Compensation Analyst Credential. Mr. Lamport also contributes to the total rewards community in Houston through membership in both the Houston Compensation & Benefits Association and WorldatWork.
