Download the 2026 ECI Exploration & Production Participation Agreement. This must be completed by an officer of the company and uploaded by June 1, 2026.

ECI Surveys FAQs

Where do I find my login credentials?

An email titled “2025 ECI Oil and Gas E&P Compensation Survey is Open” was sent to the primary contact of approved companies from Jared Brown. This email included a pdf attachment with login credentials. If you did not receive this email and your company would like to participate, please reach out to us to ascertain eligibility.

Why don’t my login credentials work on the Incumbent Data and/or Questionnaires pages?

Each of the 3 sections of the survey must be completed in sequential order. If you have completed the Company Information section and the Incumbent Data section does not accept your credentials, please reach out to ECI. The Questionnaire portion of the survey will be unlocked after ECI completes the analysis of your incumbent data submission. The primary contact will be sent an email notification when this is unlocked.

What do the red highlights on my incumbent data worksheet indicate?

The incumbent data Excel template is conditionally formatted to flag errors in the submission. Please review the FieldDefinitions worksheet to understand why the cell may be flagged.

Do I have to complete each survey part in one sitting?

No, your survey progress will be saved and reloaded for each subsequent visit.

Can ECI data be uploaded into our compensation management tool?

ECI data can be uploaded into the compensation management tools from our approved list. An NDA must be signed by the company and management tool provider before data is uploaded.

Uploading without a signed NDA will result in breach of Participation Agreement.
